David is the founder of CompRes. He has been involved in the pay and benefits arena throughout his career, starting his working life as a corporate pension scheme specialist with Willis Towers Watson and Capita companies, and later joining Hay Management Consultants. At Hay David focused primarily on total remuneration issues and also had an interest in job evaluation.
Away from the office, among David’s main interests and relaxations are playing golf, skiing and following the fortunes of AFC Bournemouth.
David has been involved in financial services in the 20 years since he graduated from Oxford University, spending the first decade of his working life in the City at some of the world’s leading global investment banks. He joined CompRes in 2011 to help develop the remuneration surveys.
An active member of his local road cycling club, David is happiest when cycling in the Surrey Hills or the French Alps. He also enjoys classical music and is often to be found at the Southbank Centre or the Royal Opera House.
